Caroline didn’t so much extend the hand of friendship as literally throw her warmth out at you like a blanket and wrap it around your shoulders.

She didn’t let her friendships fall into a state of neglect; she looked after them, nurtured them.  And she always had room for more.

She gave; she rarely took.  She radiated warmth.
