After any dynamic and robust debate she would lean in and say "I know, why doesn't anyone else get it?"-always ending with a laugh.

And she could always laugh at herself. We laughed a lot -often at things that to any outsider were not obviously funny- some things just can't be explained.

She had a great sense of the ridiculous. She was a joy.
